Record September for Heathrow with passengers up 7.6 percent

Heathrow Airport had it's busiest September ever with 6.2 million passengers and an increase in long-haul journeys.
September saw an increase of 7.6 percent over September 2009, the largest year-on-year increase since July 2004.
Travellers from Heathrow to North America increased by 6.5 percent and South America up 16.4 percent. The most popular routes were New York, Dubai and Dublin.
